The Community Association's 2021 Annual Membership Meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church, on Sideburn Rd. Start time is 7:30 pm and directions to the meeting room will be posted. All Association homeowner members have been mailed a letter containing an official notification of the meeting, the 2021-2022 budget, and a proxy form. If members cannot attend in person, they are urged to submit a proxy. Instructions are included in the letter. NOTE: Some letters mailed by members to the Association at P.O. Box 271, Fairfax, VA 22038 may have been erroneously returned to the sender by the Post Office. If this happened to you, please hand your proxy to another Association member or bring it to the annual meeting.
All members of the Community Association are encouraged to join the Kings Park West Civic Association. The Civic Association funds and organizes many important community services, including the Herald, landscaping at our subdivision entrances, park and trail cleanup and maintenance, block captain organization, and Neighborhood Watch. The Civic Association is carrying a good part of the Community Association's covenant-directed load, and if the Civic Association were not strongly supported, the mandatory annual assessments of the Community Association would rise significantly. The Civic Association richly deserves the strong support of all residents of KPW, owners and renters alike, and of every member of the Community Association.
