Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

March 11, 2026

The meeting was held at Laurel Ridge Elementary School; called to order at 7:30 p.m.

Attendance:  Maureen Pettis, Carolyn LaRosa, Diane Jeffers, Sharon Decker, Jim Bovino, and Larry Velte.  Absent:  Mark Heppner

Approval of February 11, 2026 Meeting Minutes:  The minutes were approved.

Treasurer’s Report - As of 1/31/2026, we had 

             $15,258.52 in Operating Account

             $ 6,829.17 in CD

             $ 5,003.73 in Money Market CD

             $ 27,245.18 in Reserve Study CD.

        Delinquencies were: 

            5 accounts owing over $500 for a total of $3,727.47,

            11 accounts owing between $100 and $499 for a total of $2,124.42, and

            29 accounts owing between $50 and $99 for a total of $1,505.00.        

       Tree Work - The $850.00 tree work for Bessmer was unanimously approved.  

Old Business:

Annual Assessment - The need to increase the assessment was discussed. We will seek the advice of the management company and counsel. We will consider a late fee.

Website - Larry and Maureen will meet with Burke Community Management to discuss website management.

New Business:

Annual Meeting:  We will look for a venue to hold the 2026 annual membership meeting on June 17.

 The meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm.  Next meeting is April 8 at 7:30, at Laurel Ridge.
