Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

August 8, 2012

In attendance: Joe Meyer, Maureen Pettis, Armand Fournier, Mark Heppner, Linda Bufano, Virginia Scattergood,

Meeting called to order at 7:35. 

Approval of July Meeting Minutes: Linda moved to approve the July minutes, Maureen seconded.  Approved 6-0.

Treasurer’s Report: The board was informed that the current checking account balance as of July 31, 2012 is $7,555.25; the savings account is at $6,709.83; there are 2 general fund CD’s in the amount of $5,233.18 each, and the reserve CD is $13,434.77 bringing the grand total to: $38,166.21.

The two operating CD’s were renewed for 15 months; the Reserve CD is also eligible to roll over to a 15 month renewal, which Mark will handle.

Post Office Box Renewal is not due until January.

Assessment: Mark will ask Rod to send out reminder notices for early September. Virginia asked about electronic bill pay through the bank; Mark will ask Rod how those are received.

Tree on Nottinghill: A quote from J&L was received; however it was higher than the last time they took a tree down. Armand is getting other quotes for comparison.  Armand noted that last year we took a branch on this tree, another large branch dropped, so it should be cut down and left on common property.   

Hearing no new business, Linda motioned to adjourn; Armand seconded. Concluded at 7:54 p.m.
